Qwoter ("we", "us", "our") operates the Qwoter platform at qwoter.com. We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account data: name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed via Clerk)
  • Proposal data: project descriptions, client names, and generated proposal content you create
  • Company Brain documents: files you upload to improve AI personalisation
  • Usage data: proposal count, plan type, feature usage
  • Payment data: billing information processed by Stripe (we never store card details)
  • Client portal analytics: IP address, user agent, and time spent when a client opens a shared proposal

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver and improve the Service
  • To personalise AI-generated proposals using your Company Brain documents
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To send transactional notifications (e.g., when a client views your proposal)
  • To respond to support requests

4. AI Processing

Proposal inputs and Company Brain documents are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate proposals. Inputs are used solely to fulfil your request and are not used to train Anthropic's models under our API agreement. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for more detail.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted sub-processors required to operate the Service:

  • Clerk — authentication
  • Supabase — database and file storage
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic — AI inference
  • Resend — transactional email

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your proposals, Company Brain documents, and personal data are permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@qwoter.ai or use the account deletion option in Settings.

8. Cookies

Qwoter uses essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data in transit (TLS), row-level security in the database, and regular access reviews. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you via email of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
